How can i delete spywares and viruses that keep on coming back?pls help!?

zinblog.com became my homepage and i cant change it.

i found and deleted spywares and viruses through Spybot and AVG but after i restart theyre there again. urgh.

i cant turn off the system restore, it says it is disabled by Group Policy. i cant also find the Run dialogue box on the start menu to type in msconfig to fix this problem.

pls help me.

yeah it's best to go with safe mode....some of those spyware apps are probably protected while you're trying to remove them.

Your current user level status has some restricted privilages...if you can log in as an admin user you'd have more options. In any case, when you boot into safe mode just select Administrator on the login. It's a seperate admin account resident in xp and does not require a password.

Update the spybot first...safe mode disables the network. then boot to safe and run that....also check through your add/remove programs....sometimes free ware applications that might have been installed can contain bundled adware and crap like that. run through the add/remove as well as program folder groups to weed out anything you know doesn't belong. And if you can manage look through the registry as well. Sometimes leaving the registry keys behind will alow it to regenerate
