If I re-start my whole computer, will the viruses [Trojan horses and others] disappear?

My computer is contaminated by a virus called ''Security Toolbar 7.1.'' Would the viruses really be gone if I re-start my whole computer?

Oh, and do you know any website that'll allow me to create a free back-up disc. I have one, but it was from a couple of months ago. How does that work, by the way, since I had a trial for Windows One Care?

Please answer this, and thank you so much.

Why wood you want to reinstall your windows operating system if you could just get a great Virus + Spyware scanner for free. Go to http://www.SpywareTerminator.com when you are installing it make sure to integrate WinClam AV when it asks you to. Do a full Virus and Spyware scan (There is a choice like that). It's 100% Free
Just get AVG and Spybot Search and Destroy...
