Afterall its only safe from Viruses because to be honest, few people are going to write viruses for such as a small group of the market. If people move to MAC then they will, the MAC OS is slightly more secure but not enough.

it is true that macs have less viruses, but they still can get viruses. problem is, there is more people on windows, and more people who know about windows. if there was lots of info online about how to program for macs, then more mac viruses would be made, dont worry, i will make some for mac someday, but dont buy a mac, macs suck. (if i go into why without some asprin i wont be able to stay on thy comp much longer)

gosh, u dont ahve to switch to firefox to prevent viruses, currently, there are NO exploits to IE, microsoft has fixed all of them, IE is extreemly safe. most viruses come from unsecure networks, or people downloading from emails

It is funny, especially since MAC is really ASKING for viruses with their latest commercials (not that I don't enjoy them). MACs are built fairly well, but the one thing I wonder is... Does Steve Jobs design his laptops like he designs the IPOD? He has been quoted saying that he hopes consumers update their IPODs on a yearly basis.
