I wanted to ask guys if you download a unsigned app for your nokia ex N95 is it safe? does the app have to be signed for u to use it like maybe for the n95, nokmote in which it is downloaded unsigned. do unsigned apps have viruses?

Unsigned applications are not viruses.

You can install them and use them without any problem.

Now some tricks are available by which even you can sign a unsigned Application.

P.S.- Always scan the downloaded file to check that its a malware or not.

There is generally no problem at all with installing and running unsigned applications.

Being unsigned does not mean they contain viruses.
